This brasserie-style dining restaurant is situated in the Pall Mall clubhouse and was refurbished in all of it’s art deco splendour. The Grade II* Listed interior was carefully restored, keeping most of the original features, with sympathetically enhanced lighting.

The central bar has an immediate presence to the room as it’s the first element you see, waling down the corridor. The art-deco glass fan is uplit from the banquette seating behind, majestically framing the lit mesh covering and halo lit bar, creating an inviting cocktail moment on arrival.

The existing chandeliers, once the main source of light were refurbished and LED striplight added to the ceiling coving so as to flood the space with a warm indirect light. Lighting was introduced to the lower level by recessed uplights to pick out the architectural features: arched window reveals and columns as well as concealed striplighting to the window banquettes. LED picture lights were installed to illuminate the museum quality fresco panelling - this effectively was the artwork to the room

The lighting was controlled on a radio frequency control system, utilising the existing wiring, gibing full control system functionality with minimal additional disruptive wiring. At the touch of a button, the brightly lit lunchtime setting dims down to a soft dining ambiance, revealing seating areas, flanked by exquisite lighting effects that create an intimate, human scale to the voluminous interior
