Dynamic colour change transforms the kitchen into a party setting at the touch of a button

The brief was to design a contemporary lighting scheme suitable for a traditional domestic environment.

A dynamic, carefully concealed, colour-changing scheme is activated in the kitchen/dining area. The back splash changes colour from a subtle warm white through to lilac at the touch of a button.

Soft washes and 'halos' of light are visible throughout the house. Harsh glare is cleverly avoided by concealing the light fittings within the architectural detail.

The subtle lighting has transformed this private residence into a sanctuary within the city.
